Who Is This For?
If you are curious about having a better understanding of haka and learning the appropriate times to perform different types of haka, this course is for you.
You will learn about the different types of haka, the origins, the history, the importance and the stories behind the creation of haka. Our goal is to bring some better knowledge and understanding to ensure we give haka the mana that it deserves. You will be given haka to learn that fit different settings and celebration, making haka more appropriate for the occasion.
This course will bring more awareness and make you feel proud the next time you haka.
You do not need to have a high level of knowledge with the language, you just need to have a strong passion to grow your knowledge of haka.

For the remainder of the 8-week foundation program, an ongoing weekly payment schedule of $30+ GST will be set up by our direct debit partner for the duration of your enrolment, making things easy for both of us to manage.

We encourage mistakes and allow learners to grow their confidence over the course. Overcoming trauma that may have prevented you from embracing your reo before now. We are here to support and encourage you on this journey.
Our goal is to help guide you, build your confidence and enjoy speaking te reo in the comfort of your own home!
